Rules for using Save Video Online responsibly.

These Terms govern your access to and use of Save Video Online. By checking the acceptance box, submitting a URL or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Permitted use

You may use the service only for media that you own, are licensed to copy, have permission to save, or otherwise have a lawful right to download. You are responsible for confirming that your request and later use of the file are permitted.

2. Clickwrap acceptance and download confirmations

Before the tool is unlocked, you must actively accept the current Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Notice and Copyright Policy. For each URL, you must separately confirm that you own the media, have permission from the rights holder, or have another lawful right to download it. Before a file is prepared, you must make a final confirmation that the download and intended use will not infringe copyright, privacy, contractual or other third-party rights. These boxes are not pre-selected.

3. Prohibited activity

You must not use the service for copyright infringement, private or paid media, DRM circumvention, unauthorised account access, bulk scraping, harassment, stalking, non-consensual intimate material, child exploitation material, malware, security attacks or other unlawful conduct. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

4. Third-party websites

The service processes URLs supplied by users. Third-party websites are independent, may change without notice and may impose their own terms. We do not control, host or endorse third-party content merely because the service can analyse a URL.

5. Consent records

For accountability, abuse prevention and policy enforcement, we may record the policy version accepted, acceptance time, source domain, confirmation states and privacy-protected request or session identifiers. The consent record does not contain the generated media file. Further details appear in the Privacy Notice.

6. Temporary processing

Media may be processed and stored temporarily to complete a request. Generated files and job records expire automatically. Do not rely on the service as permanent storage.

7. Availability and changes

We do not promise that every URL, website, quality or output format will work. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue features for legal, technical, security, capacity or operational reasons.

8. Enforcement

We may block URLs, domains, requests or users where we reasonably believe the service is being misused or where action is needed to address a complaint, legal request, capacity issue or security risk.

9. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, suitability or error-free operation.

10. Responsibility for breach

You are responsible for loss or claims directly caused by your unlawful use of the service or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not make you responsible for loss caused by our own unlawful conduct or negligence where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory law or consumer protection that applies in another jurisdiction.

The current version and effective date are displayed on this page. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.
